Gloria – African-American woman in her forties; intelligent; warm.

Rick – White Man in his forties.

UGLY LIES THE BONE

First rehearsal: February 19, 2018
Performances: March 2 – March 18, 2018

Kacie – Mid-late 30s; was probably beautiful once; sweet; trying hard for positivity.

Stevie – Early-mid 30s; an inviting smile that makes you want to live in it; life just keeps happening to him; African-American, Native-American, Latino, or Asian-American

Kelvin – Older than Kacie; too comfortable in his own skin.

Voice/Their Mom – 60s; passionate; powerful maternal; a strong vocal quality

The role of Jess has been cast.
