Add A Little Theatre In Your Fall

Well, it’s that time of year. The end of Summer, school has started back up, the aspens bright green leaves are transitioning to a beautiful golden amber, and there is a chill in the air. I’ll admit this is my first fall here in Summit County. Being new to the county makes me excited to experience my favorite season in a new place. That includes the happenings at the Lake Dillon Theatre Company.

I’LL EAT YOU LAST: A CHAT WITH SUE MENGERS

The Season To Be Human continues with the story of a pioneer, of sorts. On September 7 – 23 step into the living room of Sue Mengers, Hollywoods first female super agent, during the LDTC’s production I’LL EAT YOU LAST: A Chat With Sue Mengers. According to the LA Times, it’s “a helluva fun show to watch.” I’m excited to see I’LL EAT YOU LAST because it is a one-woman show featuring one of my favorite LDTC actors, Sharon Kay White. Purchase tickets to this must-see show here.

Love…and Other Stuff

When I’LL EAT YOU LAST closes Sharon Kay White will once again take the stage in a signature Cabaret titled “Love…And Other Stuff” if you missed our Summer Sunday Cabarets now’s your chance to fill your evening with song September 28 at 7:30. This will be the only cabaret in September so make sure you purchase your tickets before they are gone!

New York City Trips

October is a slower month here in Summit County, the calm before the storm right? That makes it the perfect time to escape before the snow flies. The LDTC makes an annual Educational Trip to New York City. Participants get to see six shows on Broadway, rumor has it there is a Tony Award winner on agenda. Learn more here!

Broadway Now & Then

If you love Cabarets in early November the LDTC will hold the ever popular Broadway Now & Then. Enjoy a first act featuring classic Broadway music we’ve come know and love followed by a second act tribute to what is new and beautiful about Broadway. I for one am very excited about this cabaret! The show takes place November 9 – 10 at 7:30.

CONSTELLATIONS

Step into the Holiday season with the final show of our 2018 season, CONSTELLATIONS opening November 23. It’s not holiday themed but is a beautiful story regarding a simple encounter between a man and woman which propels a spell-bounding, romantic journey within a complex matrix of parallel universes. I don’t know about you, but to me, this show sounds like one you don’t want to miss. CONSTELLATIONS will bring us into that lovely Summit County Winter as it ends December 16. Tickets are on sale now!

Holiday Follies

Now is the time for you to make plans to attend Holiday Follies and of course the LDTC’s New York New Year’s Eve.

Make this fall one to remember! See you at the theatre!
