Building the Wall
TICKETS ON SALE NOW!
By Robert Schenkkan
Directed by Christopher Alleman
January 19 - February 11, 2018
Set in a not so far off dystopian future, BUILDING THE WALL is about what happens when the line between following orders or doing the moral thing is blurred. Or is it? A terrifying examination of the power of fear, Building the Wall, explores the meanings of citizenship, patriotism, and terrorism in an ever-evolving present-day America. This Colorado mountain premiere is performed by two powerhouse performers in Joel Rainwater and Debra Walton.
"[A] terrifyingly plausible work of dystopian fiction...Step by step, Schenkkan gets us to see the way the collapse of institutions leads to the collapse of morality and the run of law." - LA Times
ADVISORY: Building the Wall is a dark look into a dystopian future where power corrupts and contains some adult language. Recommended for adults and students ages 15+. * All decisions on student attendance is at the discretion of the parent(s).
