Intro to Musical Theatre

Join us for an informal exploration of one of America’s truest art forms, the Musical. A four-week seminar meeting on consecutive Thursdays starting June 11, we’ll examine the historical eras, key figures, and overall impacts of Musical Theatre on the world today.
Each class will last approximately one hour and is FREE. No materials or previous knowledge of musicals are required. YOU MAY DROP IN FOR ALL FOUR CLASSES, OR JOIN US FOR ONE CLASS!

10 Minute Playwriting Class
Instructor: Lynn Evertowski
Designed for beginning playwrights or anyone interested in expanding their writing style, this class is focused on cultivating character through plot, structure, and lived experience. In the last class, actors will perform selections of your 10-minute play for you to hear, enjoy and learn from.
