Experience New York City with the Lake Dillon Theatre Company
Due to Coronavirus, the Broadway League has announced that Broadway shows will remain closed until Spring 2021 or later. We are disappointed that for the first time since 2008, we will not be able to host our annual October Theatre Trip to NYC. But we also fully understand and support the need to prioritize public health and safety during this time.
We are already planning for an exciting 2021 New York Theatre Trip. Tentative dates are set for October 19 - 22 and October 26 - 29. Please contact us if you are interested in receiving information about this trip.
In October 2021, the LDTC will host its annual New York City theatre trip. The LDTC staff selects a diverse line-up of New York productions for patrons to experience and arranges group talk backs, dinner at two midtown restaurants, plus unique NYC-theatre experiences.
The New York Theatre Trip includes: three nights lodging at the Park Central Hotel, tickets to four shows curated by the LDTC Staff, and two group meals at midtown restaurants.
While there is plenty of time for sightseeing and day activities, the focus of the trip remains the theatre experiences. Over the past several years, participants have enjoyed such hits as Hello Dolly starring Bette Midler, Hamilton, Come From Away, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, The Book of Mormon, War Horse, and much more. We are excited to announce that for 2021, participants will be seeing the hottest revival of the season, The Music Man, starring Tony-winners Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster.
Cost is $2500 per person, based on double occupancy rates. Registration is open, and payments will not be due until further notice.
