Youth Camps & Classes

LDTC’s Youth Camps & Classes provide theatre-based education programs to Summit County’s youth. While students gain knowledge and skills in the performance arts through theatre, music, and dance classes, the program’s ultimate focus is to broaden perspectives, build confidence, and bolster community ties through shared experiences. The classes culminate into performances free to the public.

The Lake Dillon Youth Camps & Classes are a safe and encouraging environment for any child with an interest in performing arts. We not only take pride in developing creative passions but we allow children to work together, think outside the box, and most importantly, have fun!

2020 Schedule Update

Summit County's summer camp program providers have been awaiting official health policy updates and guidelines from state health officials in order to determine if and how 2020 summer programs could continue in our community. With the newest information released the last week of May, we are excited to announce that our 2020 Summer Theatre Programs will take place.

The health and well-being of your student(s) is our top priority. Our 2020 LDTC Youth Summer Workshops Preparations, Policies and Procedures Guidelines outlines our new health protocols in response to Covid19 under direction from state and county health authorities. Mandatory face masks, regular temperature testing, consistent physical distancing, ongoing hand washing and  enhanced sanitation procedures will be included in the daily protocols.

We understand that families may have questions and also have different levels of comfort as it relates to policies and procedures moving forward.   We are planning an online forum via Zoom to review our policies virtually and describe the class and performance schedules for the summer programs.  We invite parents to participate to learn more and ask questions regarding our 2020 Summer Programs.  This interactive forum has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, June 9 at 5:30-6:30 PM.  Details on how to register for this online forum will be sent out next week and will be posted HERE on or before June 9 at 5 PM.
