Patron Services Manager

The PSM will coordinate all areas of communication and customer service relating to performances for the Lake Dillon Theatre Company and all events at the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center. The PSM will provide customer service functions for all season subscribers, individual ticket buyers, and patrons attending free, private, or other community special events. The PSM will coordinate volunteers and implement concessions operations and services using a paid staff.  The PSM will play an important role in supporting community outreach initiatives on behalf of the LDTC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities:  The PSM: 1) conducts all box office transactions for ticket buyers, including season subscribers, individual ticket buyers, and group sales; 2) oversees concessions operations and transactions; and 3) organizes volunteer initiatives and efforts as they relate to volunteer opportunities for the LDTC.

Secondary Responsibilities: The PSM: 1) coordinates with the Community Outreach Committee to support outreach efforts; 2) works with the development and marketing staffs to provide ongoing communications with patrons and community members; and 3) plays an ongoing role in patron relations, including but not limited to front of house tasks and participation and support in development and patron events as needed.

Overview: Under the direction of the Executive Director (ED), the PSM will work as part of a team to coordinate LDTC front of house procedures, as well as the promotion and production of a wide range of public and private performances at the LDTC and other venues.  The Manager will oversee the LDTC box office, box office applications on the LDTC website, implementation and coordination of ticketing systems, “Will Call,” and provide general assistance to patrons.  The Manager will assist season pass holders and cultivate additional pass programs through identifying and executing group sales strategies.  The Manager will provide services for theatre, music, and education events.

The PSM will coordinate all paid and non-paid front-of-house staff and operations, including concessions staff and inventories, volunteers, ushers, programs, and will work closely with specific committees designed to enhance the patron experience and develop new patrons.  The Manager will be responsible and will assist in pre-performance duties.  The Manager will oversee volunteer programs and will assist with organizing volunteers for non-theatrical events, including the Sunset at the Summit Concert Series and special Fundraising Events.

Under the direction of the ED, the PSM will coordinate and implement strategies for successful community outreach initiatives, including the oversight of the Volunteer and Ambassador Programs.  The Manager will work with the Community Outreach Committee to expand outreach initiatives for the LDTC.

The PSM will be involved in assisting with other non-identified tasks related to the field of patron development, experiences, and benefits.

The PSM will develop measurable strategic goals that pertain to LDTC revenue streams, including group ticket sales and destination group sales. Additionally, this position will coordinate with the development and marketing staff, as well as the Community Outreach Committee, as well as other non-identified individuals and groups, to achieve marketing and branding goals through customer sales and service.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

Ideal candidates have a minimum Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field with 2+ years of customer services, patron relations, or ticket sales, and/or volunteer coordination, or in a related field. Good organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task. Excellent interpersonal skills.  Ability to work independently and be a team player with excellent time management and people management skills. Written and oral presentation skills a plus. Intermediate computer skills in PC and/or MAC systems.  Knowledge of web and social media outlets a necessity. S/he must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and be able to physically perform the key responsibilities of the position. S/he must be TIPS trained in the state of Colorado (training may happen after hired) and have a working knowledge of alcohol-related laws and codes.  S/he must be available for flexible hours, including weekends and weekend nights, late afternoons and evenings, and some holidays. Experience working on software programs including content management systems preferred.

Performance & Event Bartender

The Lake Dillon Theatre Company seeks a professional team of certified servers who are responsible for bar and concession sales at Lake Dillon Theatre Company performances and events. This position will serve liquor to our patrons in a professional, responsible and safe manner, while ensuring an excellent guest experience at the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center. Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interaction while accurately mixing and serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to provide guests with responsible alcohol service while delivering high quality customer service during all performances, concerts, and events.
