Things To Do This Weekend in Summit County

Looking for something to do this weekend? Lucky for us, we live in a beautiful place where there is always something going on. Here are just a few of the highlights for this weekend…

Dillon Farmers Market

At 9am every Friday from June 5 to September 18 The Dillon Farmers Market comes to life. It is not only the perfect place for lunch with so many tasty treats to choose from, but you can also take home some delicious fresh produce and support our local businesses by purchasing unique Colorado made products. Some of our favorites are Nicky’s Quickie Greek Gyros (they are amazing. There may be a short wait, but trust me it’s worth it!) You can also enjoy Salmon Tacos, Crepes, Tamales and so much more. We also love the homemade jellies, freshly brewed coffee, candles, cushions and jewelry. Come take a look, there is something for everyone. Colorado Cider and Beer Circus at Copper Mountain

This sounds like so much fun! This first time event will offer more than 75 craft cider and craft beer sampling along with cider making demonstrations, kid’s crafts, a Marching Band and a Mixology Bar. This sounds like the perfect day out to me…there is something for the whole family. Find more information at http://cidercircus.com

FREE concert at the Dillon Amphitheatre

This week the Sunset at the Summit Concert welcomes Queen of Nation to the Stage! This is a favorite for many of us in Summit County and one not to be missed. Queen Nation’s live performance of Queen’s greatest hits preserve the image, sound, and stage persona of vintage Queen. From We Will Rock You to Another One Bites the Dust, their tribute concert is one not to be missed! If the weather forecast is correct, it look like we are in for yet another beautiful night and beautiful sunset at the Lake Dillon Amphitheatre this Saturday night. Bring a blanket or chair, get here early to secure your spot for the night (and your parking spot…it gets busy!) and don’t forget your dancing shoes!
